Salma Hayek wore a see-through fishnet dress over lingerie to the Magic Mike premiere

I suppose when you’re as famously stunning as Salma Hayek, you can get away with wearing whatever you want, even if it’s fishnet. To the Miami premiere of the latest Magic Mike film, Magic Mike’s Last Dance, Hayek wore a fishnet dress adorned with floral embroidery appliqués over a black bra and bikini briefs. When it came to accessories, Hayek took a more-is-more approach, including a chunky crystal pendant necklace, bangle bracelets, gold platform shoes by Larroudé, and a bright green Bottega Veneta Casette bag. 

Hayek is currently promoting a movie franchise devoted almost entirely to Channing Tatum’s abs, so a little raciness in the dress code is kind of called for. In Magic Mike’s Last Dance, Hayek plays a wealthy woman who is so impressed by the private dance Mike gives her that she takes him to London and sponsors the biggest show he’s ever performed. 

“I play a strong woman,” Hayek said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. “You know what was my day going into the office? I would just sit around and watch, like, 12 men, seminaked dancing and doing pirouettes. And I got to boss them around.” Antonio Banderas, who was also nearby during the interview to promote Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, joked, “Poor girl. Poor you.”

After all the sexy dancer roles Salma Hayek has played over the years, I think she’s earned the chance to just sit back and enjoy the show for once. And also to wear fishnet on the red carpet.
