Salman Khan was on Mohali RPG attacker’s hitlist, says Delhi Police

The Delhi Police has arrested two accused of the Mohali RPG attack. According to the police, Bollywood actor Salman Khan was on the attacker’s hit list.

By Himanshu Mishra: The Delhi Police has arrested two persons, including a minor, for their alleged involvement in the RPG attack on the intelligence unit in Mohali in May this year. The police have arrested the accused from Jamnagar in Gujarat.

According to the police, Bollywood star Salman Khan was also on the juveniles hit list. Police said the juvenile was given an assignment by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang to execute actor Salman Khan. However, he could not carry out the task as he got involved in the planning of the Mohali RPG attack.

The other accused, Arshdeep, was reportedly in touch with Babar Khalsa International, backed by Pakistans Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).

In the investigation, police concluded that Babar Khalsa International was the mastermind behind the Mohali attack.

The juvenile was reportedly involved in the murder of a builder, Sanjay Biyani, who was killed in Maharashtras Nanded on April 5. The minor was allegedly involved in the murder of gangster Rana Kandowalia outside a private hospital in Amritsar on August 4, 2021.

Arshdeep, who is from Tarn Taran in Punjab, was wanted in an IED recovery case at Sirhali police station in the Firozpur district of Punjab. He was also accused of planting the IED that was recovered from Shahabad and Kurukshetra.
