Samantha Ruth Prabhu has posted a video on her Twitter handle to thank her fans for the response on her recently released film Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal also co-starring Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara. Directed by Vignesh Shivan, the film hit the screens on April 28. Samantha is currently in Kashmir shooting for her upcoming film with Vijay Deverakonda. The video was shot in Kashmir where she was seen thanking her fans for the love and support that mean a lot to her.

Sam said in the video, “Thank You guys for giving overwhelming response to Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal. It means the world to me. I wish I was there to see. I wish I was there to see you guys enjoy the film. The response, your messages, tweets mean the world to me. Thanks, thank you so so much”.

“Red heart from Kashmir #KaathuvaakulaRenduKaadhal,” Samantha captioned the video.

Samantha played Khatija in KVRK and she was raved for her performance. The film grossed Rs. 6.90 crores approx for the opening day, including Rs. 5 crores approx in Tamil Nadu.

Samantha’s romantic film with Vijay Deverakonda, tentatively titled VD 11 is directed by Shiva Nirvana. It is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Ravishankar Yalamanchili under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers. Recently, she turned 35 and Vijay and the team surprised her with a prank during midnight. The actress shared the video on social media.

Sam also has Yashoda, directed by Hari and Harish and Gunasekhar’s Shaakuntalam.
