Sammi Giancola returns to Jersey Shore after 11 years away in first look trailer

Sammi Giancola is joining the cast of Jersey Shore cast once again after more than a decade away from the MTV reality series. 

She will be reunited with her former housemates as the gang heads to Florida for a break away, but little did they expect to see their ex-co-star walk through the door. 

At the beginning of the new trailer, members of the cast tell the cameras individually that they are “shook”, with Mike Sorrentino telling fans he is “shooketh right now”. 

A mysterious car is then seen pulling up and a voiceover begins: “Just when you thought you’d seen everything…” 

The trailer teases the moment the stars see Sammi as she walks through the door and she says in a dramatic fashion “I’m back!”.

Mike says he “cannot believe…Gym, tan, Sam’s back” and according to the voiceover “this sweetheart is stirring things up” after her 11-year break from the show. 

Sammi left alongside her then-boyfriend Ronnie in the series finale back in December 2012 when they were hoped to make their on-off relationship finally stick. 

Sadly, it wasn’t to last as the couple went their separate ways for good shortly after leaving Jersey Shore. 

Despite Sammi not being physically present for more than a decade, Pauly D took it upon himself to replace her with a life-like Sammi Doll which has remained a permanent fixture. 

In the upcoming episodes, real-life Sammi will finally come face-to-face with the creepy doll.

Fans will also remember the infamous note Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi and Jenni ‘JWoww’ Farley anonymously left for Sammi in 2010. 

The note exposed her ex-boyfriend Ronnie’s cheating, informing her on the first night he “made out with two girls and put his head in between a cocktail waitress’ breasts.” 

The note caused plenty of drama in the house and in Family Vacation, Sammi is seen standing next to a bed sheet and pillows with the note printed in large text. 

There had been some speculation the note was manufactured by those working behind the scenes but producer of the MTV series Charlie Newton stated it was “truly organic”.

The official description for the series reads: “From the ultimate kick off in Pennsylvania where DJ Pauly D and Vinny orchestrate an epic prank that almost scars the ‘meatballs’ permanently to Deena taking family trips to the next level at Margaritaville, the Shore family continues to make every moment one to remember. 

“Tensions between Angelina and Jenni from earlier this season continue, while a shocking revelation about Angelina’s father influences Mike to investigate. 

“Plus, things are bound to get a little messy when Mike reveals he’s been talking to Sammi’s infamous ex.”
