Akshay Kumar starrer Samrat Prithviraj is all set to hit the theatres tomorrow (June 3). It also stars former Miss World Manushi Chhillar who is playing Princess Sanyogita. Ahead of its release, the Uttar Pradesh government has declared the movie tax free. ANI quoted UP CM Yogi Adityanath saying, “We announce that the movie ‘Samrat Prithviraj’ will be made tax-free in Uttar Pradesh so that a common man can also watch this movie.”
The chief minister along with his colleagues attended a special screening of Samrat Prithviraj. Akshay, Manushi and director Chandra Prakash Dwivedi were also present at the screening.
On Wednesday, union home minister Amit Shah also watched the film in Delhi. He was all praise for the movie. He said, “This film depicts Indian culture of respecting women and empowering women. The story is about a hero who fought amid battles from Afghanistan to Delhi. India has been fighting invasion for centuries.”

Recently, in a fun segment with Bollywood Bubble, Manushi replied to some of the fans’ questions. One of them asked why she chose Samrat Prithviraj as her debut film. To which she said, “I think a film like this chooses you, it’s not that you are not the only one choosing you know a film like this. More than that yes I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity of choosing another film at that time. But after listening to, that you are getting to work with Yash Raj Akshay Sir and Doctor Saab and after listening to narration from doctor Saab(Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi). The conviction with which he narrates the story, you’re already sold to the idea.”
