SAN JOSE — An employee at a San Jose middle school was arrested this week on suspicion of sexually assaulting a student, according to authorities.
The 20-year-old San Jose man, who was working as a library media aide at Sylvandale Middle School, was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of lewd and lascivious acts on a minor, according to the San Jose Police Department. The man was booked into Santa Clara County Jail.
According to police, the man allegedly sexually assaulted a 13-year-old female student, who reported the incident to her parents on May 26. The incident allegedly took place at school the week before.
