San Ramon: Noshery food hall with 8 restaurant concepts opens first East Bay location

0

Noshery, a food hall that offers mix-and-match restaurant meals from one kitchen for dine-in, delivery and takeout, has expanded to San Ramon — its first East Bay location.

Unlike some ghost kitchens that are situated in industrial neighborhoods for primarily delivery orders, Noshery — a concept from Byte Kitchens, a food tech company — locates its sites in retail districts and offers some casual seating for pickup customers. The first two opened in downtown San Mateo on South Ellsworth Avenue and in San Carlos on that city’s restaurant row, Laurel Street.

The San Ramon kitchen — located on San Ramon Valley Boulevard just south of Crow Canyon Road — has launched with several restaurant partners, some familiar to Bay Area diners, some concepts new to this market. And more menus will be added soon. There is seating for 20 diners inside, plus patio tables.

A grand opening party from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday, April 22, will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony, raffles, games and free food samples.
