Sarah Hyland chopped her hair into the cutest bob with bangs

Sarah Hyland debuted a big hair change at the 2021 People’s Choice Awards: a bob with a piecey fringe. Check it out for yourself, below: 

Hyland teased the look on her Instagram Stories, writing, “I did a thing today…You’ll all see tomorrow at the @peopleschoice awards,” alongside the shocked-face and haircut emojis. 

Sarah Hyland’s been keeping a relatively low profile since Modern Family wrapped in 2020. Up next for her is a comedy called My Fake Boyfriend alongside Dylan Sprouse and Keiynan Lonsdale. She’s also, of course, still very much engaged and loved-up with Bachelor alum Wells Adams. Their wedding plans, like many people’s, were postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic. 

“Yeah, we were going to get married 8/20/20 and it’s not happening anymore, but what can you do?” Hyland said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, according to Us Weekly. 

But they still celebrated on that day, even if it wasn’t a wedding. “It was my first time out of my house in quarantine, and we went to a winery and we went with all of our friends—all of us got tested—our family, our best man, maid of honour,” she told Ellen. “I brought a white dress and a veil I got on Etsy, and my bridesmaids got a real wedding bouquet and surprised me, and we took fake wedding pictures for fun!”

“A couple, a pandemic, & a postponed wedding: A series. We were supposed to get married today. Instead… we took pictures and drank wine. I love you to Pluto & back @wellsadams,” Hyland wrote on Instagram. 

“Happy birthday to my beautiful bride-to-be,” Adams wrote on Instagram this past November for Hyland’s birthday. “So often I’m in awe of your natural elegance that I have to capture it. Here are some of my favorite portraits that I’ve taken of you, my love. These are all pictures from epic adventures, and I just have to say…get ready for another one ????. I love you plus one anything you say. Happy birthday, baby!”
