Saweetie Could Literally Kill a Man With This Red Stiletto Manicure

Saweetie Could Literally Kill a Man With This Red Stiletto Manicure

I’ve seen long nails before, but Saweetie‘s newly debuted stiletto-shaped manicure takes the cake for the longest set of nails I’ve ever seen on someone. She shared the extra-long nail set to her Instagram grid on February 4.

In the photo, the rapper’s dark red stiletto nails are lying against her breasts, but her new claws aren’t necessarily the focal point of her post. Per the photo’s caption, Saweetie’s eponymously-named merchandise line, Icy by Saweetie, has released some new chain necklaces, which you’ll see sitting around her neck.

The singer’s stiletto sets are very much a celebrity favorite. Newly named nail polish brand founder Machine Gun Kelly and singer-songwriter Lizzo are very much big fans of the nail shape. Taraji P. Henson, Emma Corrin, and Michaela Jaé Rodriguez have also been spotted on the red carpet with the nail shape as well.

Meanwhile, short nails have been also vying for a spot in the limelight recently. If you haven’t heard by now, Kim Kardashian has been trying to make them a thing, and many of the models who walked the runways at New York Fashion Week’s Spring/Summer 2022 shows primarily stuck to shorties as well.

That being said, the debate is still very much on between short nails and long nails. It’s still too early to predict which nail length will reign supreme in 2022, but for now, it looks as if short nails and long nails are neck and neck. Even though the contested debate between nail length hasn’t come to a close, one thing’s for sure: Saweetie’s nails are definitely the longest set we’ve seen thus far.
