In a worrying turn of events that came to light this past weekend, it was revealed that Bulls and Springboks wing Sbu Nkosi has been missing for over three weeks now.
Nkosi was last seen and heard from on 11 November, but he has not been heard from since then. The Blue Bulls Company have confirmed they reported a missing persons case to police after multiple attempts to reach Nkosi were unsuccessful.

The 26-year-old’s family has not spoken publicly, but some comments on social media suggest his mother has worryingly not been able to get hold of him as well during this time.

- The Blue Bulls company took the decision to open a missing person case with the Brooklyn Police Station (which was subsequently transferred to Sunnyside Police Station), in Pretoria on Thursday 17 November 2022.
- The matter now sits with the South African Police Services.
- SA Rugby have not publicly commented as yet, with the 26-year-old having had to withdraw from the South Africa A touring squad this past November due to injury.

- Back in October, Nkosi was reportedly sent home early from the Bulls’ overseas United Rugby Championship tour for breaking team protocols. According to Sunday newspaper Rapport at that time, Nkosi was told to return to Mzansi after the 16-Test capped wing missed a team meeting in Ireland.
- Nkosi has scored nine tries in his 16 Tests for the Springboks. Earlier this year the powerful wing was recalled into the wider Springbok group, but after issues with injuries and form, he has not actually played for South Africa since October last year.
