We are excited to announce the next and final steps for 2023 Swim Search. We thank each and everyone one of you for coming on this journey with us and have loved reviewing all of the incredible submissions!
Below you will find a detailed schedule that includes major announcements, incredible opportunities, events, and… when the rookie for the 2024 issue will be announced!
2024 will be SI Swimsuit’s 60th anniversary, so will be a marquee moment for the brand!
March 17
SI Swimsuit will announce 24 Swim Searchers to have group castings with the SI Swimsuit team. The 24 individuals will be notified directly through The Swimfluence Network app via a direct message on March 17th if they have been selected. The castings will be done via Zoom. There will be 2 castings, March 20th & March 21st between the hours of 4 to 6 p.m. ET.
*If you are selected please note the dates and times of the castings.
April 3
SI Swimsuit will announce 12 Swim Searchers selected from the 24 individuals who participated in the castings to move on to the next round. They will receive a direct email with the news. The 12 Swim Searchers will receive a feature on SI Swimsuit’s website which garners millions of views and will also be featured across SI Swimsuit’s social media channels.
May 12
Leading up to the reveal of the 2023 issue, SI Swimsuit will announce six Swim Search finalists from the group of 12 individuals. The news will be announced on our website and social channels. These six finalists will receive an additional in-depth feature on our website and social media platforms. They will ALSO be flown down to Miami to walk in our annual Swim Week Runway Show (in June)! The six Swim Searchers will not only walk in the show but attend our events and participate in our activations.
June 8–11
Miami Swim Week! The six Swim Search finalists will be flown down to Miami for the weekend to participate in this event at the W South Beach. The weekend will include interview opportunities, social moments, activation appearances, parties and more! And we can’t forget… the opportunity to walk on the runway for the biggest event during Swim Week!
June 14–21
SI Swimsuit will be hosting a vote on our website where readers can help the editorial team decide who should be named the No. 1 rookie for the 2024 issue out of the six Swim Searchers. Encourage your family and friends to vote, vote, vote!
September
The winner will be announced at a special event hosted in NYC as the first rookie of the 2024 issue! The event will be hosted within the first two weeks of September (exact date TBD). At a later date (exact date TBD), the winner will be flown to a destination with the SI Swimsuit team for a photoshoot. They will then be featured in the magazine as one of our rookies alongside our amazing SI Swimsuit models and talent. The issue will be published in May 2024.
