For those who love window property shopping, booking a staycation or are looking to relocate for work Freeofficefinder.com has ranked the 68 most desirable locations across the UK, based on their TikTok popularity – seven of which are in Scotland.
From hip urban areas to places with stunning scenery, they are the areas people looking for a new home can expect. And living in one could see the value of your house rise by thousands of pounds.
And ranking as the most desirable place in Scotland is the Isle of Mull, with a staggering 5,100,000 TikTok views and taking ninth place overall in the UK.
The gorgeous island offers breathtaking scenery, diverse wildlife and plenty of outdoor activities. Plus with its stunning coastline, with secluded coves, rugged cliffs and white-sand beaches, it’s a great place to live.
Braemar in Aberdeenshire is the second most desirable location in Scotland and came in 14th in the UK, with 3,500,000 TikTok views.
The area offers a beautiful backdrop of the Cairngorm mountain range, as well as an abundance of outdoor activities including walking, biking, skiing, and golf.
Plus with its stunning scenery and rural location, it’s a clear hotspot for many people.
Scotland’s third most desirable location is Craigellachie in Speyside, which ranked as 25th in the UK, with 623,800 TikTok views.
The small village on the River Spey, location offers a peaceful, rural lifestyle with stunning views of the surrounding landscape, whilst also providing a busy atmosphere with its pubs and shops.
Killearn in Stirlingshire came fourth and ranked as 31st best nationally, with Islay ranked fifth and 32nd best in the UK, followed by Gullane in East Lothian in sixth place in Scotland and 40th nation-wide and finally Elie in Fife came seventh, and was rated at no 57 in the UK.
Salcombe in Devon was crowned the number one postcode spot in the UK, followed by Cobham in Surrey and Mumbles in Glamorgan, Wales.
