Former Bulls star Scottie Pippen made plenty of headlines Friday night because of his comments about Michael Jordan and LeBron James.
Before we address Pippen’s bitter remarks about Jordan, let’s visit his comments about James.
Pippen believes James, the all-time leading scorer in the NBA, is the “greatest statistical” player the game has ever seen.
“LeBron will be the greatest statistical guy to ever play the game of basketball. And there’s no comparison to him. None,” Pippen said.
After making this claim, Pippen said that he wouldn’t get into the debate about who’s the greatest player of all time.
“So, does that make him the greatest player to ever play the game? I’ll leave that out for debate.”
“LeBron will be the greatest player statistically to ever play the game. Jordan was a horrible player before I joined the Bulls”

Pippen did, however, call out Michael Jordan in this same interview.
“I saw Jordan play before I came to play with the Bulls. You guys saw him play. He was a horrible player. He was horrible to play with. He was all one-on-one, he’s shooting bad shots,” Pippen said.
It’s safe to say Pippen’s comments will spark a ton of debates this weekend.
