SDCC '23: Dynamite announces Disney/Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas Comes comic

Dynamite Entertainment has more big news this SDCC. The publisher will release licensed Disney Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas comic books and graphic novels. Writer Torunn Grønbekk (Thor, Red Sonja, Realm of X) is attached to write the first project, and releases are expected to drop throughout 2024.

This isn’t the first time the beloved tale has been published in comic and graphic novel formats. Joe Books Inc. published an adaptation in partnership with Disney in 2018. Dark Horse Books also published a young readers’ version in 2020.
