SDHR organises training programme on creativity, innovation

SHARJAH, 15th February, 2023 (WAM) — The Sharjah Department of Human Resources (SDHR) organised a training programme on institutional creativity and innovation, in conjunction with the launch of the activities of the month of innovation “UAE Innovates 2023”, which extends throughout the month of February.

The programme targeted 67 male and female employees of all job levels in the departments, authorities and institutions of the Sharjah government, which was held via live broadcast technology.

The programme comes within the development and training plan organised by the department during national events in the country, and in accordance with global international standards, in order to enhance the government’s community partnership in developing government work, and to contribute to the promotion of innovation among employees.

The programme discussed the importance of creativity and innovation and what are the most important factors that create innovation.

The UAE’s efforts in creativity and innovation were highlighted, in line with the vision of the UAE to be among the most innovative countries in the world.

The programme touched on innovation in the work environment, including integrating innovation into the department’s strategy, promoting and employing innovative talents, and creating a supportive culture, among other topics.
