Apadefim will be the venue for an event that will bring together more than three hundred athletes from all over the country, with four teams from Castilla y León
Segovia will host the FEDDI Spanish Basketball Championship for players with intellectual disabilities from November 24 to 27.
More than three hundred athletes from all over the country will participate in an event with 38 teams, four of them from Castilla y León.
The event, organized by the Spanish Federation of Sports for People with Intellectual Disabilities (FEDDI) with the collaboration of the Federation of Adapted Sports of Castilla y León (Fedeacyl), will take place in the Pedro Delgado and María Martín pavilions in the Segovian capital.
The Championship will be divided into different sports teams, with the competition modality being the highest level; going through the adapted one, both at the masculine and feminine level; such as sports skills.
CD Apadefim will host two teams, one male and one female, and both will play in the adapted division.
It will be a good opportunity to see the good level of the Segovians, demonstrated in the first day of the regional League in which they compete regularly. It will also be a good opportunity to see the progress of Adas Salamanca, who will play at the Sports Skills level, in the mixed box, together with Asprona Bierzo.
The four teams will represent the community in an appointment with clubs from Andalusia, Catalonia, the Valencian Community, Murcia, La Rioja, Galicia, Madrid and Castilla La Mancha.

The Spanish Championship will begin on Friday, November 25, at 9:00 a.m., and will take place in the morning and afternoon; the same as on Saturday 26, when the competition will start at 9:00 a.m. and end at 7:45 p.m.
The awards ceremony of the event is set at the Pedro Delgado Pavilion on the same Saturday, at 8:00 p.m.
The competition has the support of the Municipal Institute of Sports of Segovia, the Junta de Castilla y León and Full Inclusion Castilla y León
