Selena Gomez TikTok Filter On Why She’s Single

Selena Gomez was in for a “rude” surprise when she tried out a trending TikTok filter recently.

The filter in question allows users to find out why they are single and picks out an answer at random.

Some of the various potential answers included:

Until, finally, the filter’s final outcome gave Selena a surprise.

She captioned her post, “Well, that’s rude, TikTok.”

Selena’s last public relationship was with The Weeknd — they dated for nearly a year in 2017. And, of course, her most famous relationship was with Justin Bieber. The two were together on and off for eight years until 2018.

After Selena’s breakup with Justin, Selena has remained tight-lipped about her dating life, and even mentioned in her documentary, My Mind & Me, how the association of her dating life with her career has impacted her. She questioned, “I’m like, when am I going to just be good enough by myself? When am I going to be good enough — just me by myself, not needing anybody to be associated with?”

Well, these days, it seems Selena has plenty of exciting projects that are at the forefront of her life. The third season of Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building will return Aug. 8, and her cosmetics brand, Rare Beauty, has surged in popularity.

It’s nice to see Selena enjoy the time she has to herself and have fun doing it — even by poking fun at herself that she’s still single.
