Selena Gomez has her beauty routine down. When you think of the Only Murders in the Building star, you probably think of fresh, creamy skin, viral blush and minimal eye makeup, which makes her most recent look all the more surprising.
In a new video shared by Gomez’s go-to makeup artist Hung Vanngo, the star is totally transformed by the boldest graphic eyeliner she’s ever worn. The actor’s eyes are thickly lined with an inky black on both the upper and lower lashlines, joining together at a sharp point at the outer corners. Her lids are lightly tinted with a pale pinky-white eyeshadow, and another thick black line is precisely drawn just above her crease for a mod-inspired vibe. Above that, Vanngo applied a stark white shadow, then brushed up Gomez’s brows to give them a feathery ’60s effect. This is a cut crease on steroids, and it’s a big departure from what we typically see on Gomez.

The rest of her makeup was more stereotypically Selena, with lots of blush and a pretty [neutral rose lip}(http://allure.com/topic/lipstick), plus a short milk bath manicure. The liner in question was part of Rare Beauty’s forthcoming fall collection; Vanngo used Brow Harmony Precision Pencil, Perfect Strokes Longwear Gel Liner and All of the Above Weightless Eyeshadow Stick to craft Gomez’s mod moment. Since the products aren’t officially available yet, we recommend the makeup artist fave MAC Pro Longwear Fluidline gel liner, about-face Shadowstick and The Edge Precision Eyebrow Pencil by HAUS Labs for a similar look. Twiggy, is that you?
