YAWUNDE, 18th January, 2022 (WAM) — Senegal have qualified to the Round of 16 of the Africa Cup of Nations after settling for a goalless draw against Malawi in their last Group B match played at the Stade Omnisports de Bafoussam on Tuesday.
In the meantime, Guinea lost to Zimbabwe but advance to second round.
In another clinching clash, Egypt enter the field on Wednesday to face Sudan in the third and final matchday of Group D at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium. Victory will be the main objective for the Pharaohs, who need just three points to ensure their progress to the Round of 16.
It will be a match that pits two countries with a well-known and historic rivalry against each other.
