Last month, actor Shah Rukh Khan and his son Aryan Khan launched a new fashion brand on social media. The brand got wider attention as it brought the father and son together. However, there are certain people who found it a bit expensive and brought it to his notice. That’s right. A fan on Twitter expressed that his brand was expensive and requested him to sell the jacket for Rs 1000.
A fan wrote to Shah Rukh, “Ye dyavol x ke jacket thoda sa 1000- 2000 wale bhi bana do… Wo wale khareedne me to ghar chala jayega (Can you reduce the price to ₹1000 to 2000. I have to sell off my house in order to afford it).” Well, SRK noticed the message and promised to do something about it while also stating that he doesn’t get it in cheap as well. The Pathaan actor wrote back, “Yeh D’Yavol X wale log mujhe bhi sasti nahi bech rahe….kuch karta hoon! (They are not even selling me with a discount. Let me do something).”
Shah Rukh Khan’s witty yet humble reply to the fan:
After the launch of the clothing brand, some were super excited while others were disappointed with the cost of the outfits. Due to its high price, the brand received some flak from the netizens. We went through the official website where a simple white t-shirt with prints cost Rs 24k. A simple black hoodie’s price is Rs 45K.
For the unversed, the clothing brand was also Aryan Khan’s directorial debut where his father Shah Rukh turned muse for him in the first ad video. Talking about working with his father, Aryan told Harper’s Bazaar, “Working with my father is never challenging, because, with his experience and dedication, he makes everyone’s job easier on set. He also makes the entire crew feel at ease and has tremendous respect for everyone. When he’s on set I always make sure to pay extra attention, so I don’t miss out on anything I can learn.”

The Raees actor announced his upcoming movie Jawan got a new release date and hit the screens on September 7, 2023. The movie is helmed by South director Atlee and also stars Nayanthara. He also has Dunki with Rajkumar Hirani. He will be paired with Taapsee Pannu.
