NBA insider Shama Charania is obviously glued to his phone during NBA free agency, but it may be more than you think.

Charania, who does work for The Athletic, revealed that his average screen time is 19 hours per day. Basically, he’s not getting any sleep during this time.

Charanis is talking to a ton of people during this time, whether it’s via text or someone calling him.

He’s always trying to be the first one on a bit of news since ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski is a direct competitor with him. News can also drop at any time of day, so an insider always has to be ready.

This is someone that’s going to need a vacation or two once free agency starts to wind down. Start planning on a beach trip, Shams!
