Shannon Sharpe didn’t hold back Wednesday morning when discussing the latest report surrounding Ja Morant’s extracurricular activities.
There’s a rumor floating around that Morant flashed a “toy gun” on Instagram Live earlier this year. Let’s just say Sharpe isn’t buying that excuse.
“Here we are again. Ja Morant refuses to accept accountability and responsibility for his actions,” Sharpe said. “Again, it’s somebody else. Somebody from the back seat passed up a toy gun. What grown-ass man you know play with a toy gun?”
That’s not all the Hall of Famer had to say on “Undisputed.” He continued, “If that was your argument, use it the day after it happened.”

All signs point to Morant receiving a suspension from the NBA. League commissioner Adam Silver said an announcement will be made after the Finals are over.
“We’ve uncovered a fair amount of additional information,” Silver said. “We probably could have brought it to a head now, but we’ve made the decision that it would be unfair to these players and these teams to announce that decision in the middle of this series.”
The Grizzlies have already suspended Morant from all offseason team activities.
