Bronny James, the son of NBA star LeBron James, is currently recovering from cardiac arrest. He was rushed to the hospital Monday after collapsing during a basketball practice at USC.
During an appearance on “Good Morning America,” Shareef O’Neal commented on James’ cardiac event.
Shareef, the son of Shaquille O’Neal, underwent open heart surgery at the age of 18. He has a very good understanding of what Bronny is going through right now.
As a result, Shareef wants Bronny to know that he can come to him with any questions.
“I talked to Bronny and I sent him a message — and I just said, ‘Any questions you have, you can ask me. I can probably answer them for you,'” he said. “I know people are going to be saying they’re praying for you and all that, but you kind of just don’t want to hear too much about it in the moment.”

Earlier today, LeBron thanked people for all their thoughts and prayers regarding Bronny’s situation.
“I want to thank the countless people sending my family love and prayers. We feel you and I’m so grateful. Everyone doing great. We have our family together, safe and healthy, and we feel your love. Will have more to say when we’re ready but I wanted to tell everyone how much your support has meant to all of us! #JamesGang,” he tweeted.
We’re certainly wishing Bronny a full and speedy recovery.
