Sharjah Ladies Run to take place on January 14th, 2023

SHARJAH, 20th December, 2022 (WAM) — Sharjah Ladies Club is preparing for the eighth edition of the Sharjah Ladies Run, taking place on January 14th, 2023, at Shagrafa Ladies Park from 6-10PM.

The 5KM race aims to provide female runners and fitness enthusiasts with an active, fun-filled environment that challenges and encourages them to lead healthier, more active lifestyles. The first three winners will receive valuable cash prizes of up to AED18,000 and incredible gifts presented by the event’s sponsors.

Duaa Al Mahri, Director of Corporate Communications Department at Sharjah Ladies Club, mentioned that: “Sharjah Ladies Run is a significant sport and health platform that motivates and educates women on the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle in a fun and active atmosphere.”

She also spoke about the different activities taking place during the event, saying, “There will be dedicated areas for warm-up exercises, in addition to healthy snacks and drinks, and exclusive offers provided by the club’s facilities.”

The event will be organised for the first time in the Shagrafa Park for Women, one of the latest recreational facilities launched in the Emirate of Sharjah under the supervision of the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority, (Shurooq).

Sharjah Ladies Run 2023 is expected to attract numerous participants, and registration will be open to ladies and young girls aged 12+ years through the SLC mobile application.

A guide with beneficial tips and motivational advice on exercise and nutrition will be available on the official Sharjah Ladies Club website in preparation for the event and can be downloaded from www.slc.ae.
