Veteran actress Sharmila Tagore recently attended the special screening of her upcoming film Gulmohar along with Manoj Bajpayee and other cast and crew members in Delhi. Photos and videos from the events are doing rounds on the internet.
Sharmila Tagore shares her experience working with Manoj Bajpayee and Suraj Sharma in Gulmohar; says, “I kind of vibe with this young lot”
The Managing Director of Teamwork Arts shared the video on his social media account where Sharmila Tagore can be seen giving a speech during the special screening of her upcoming movie Gulmohar on Sunday in Delhi. Sharmila claimed in the video posted on Instagram that, despite appearing in the film, she sobbed profusely after seeing it the third time. Manoj Bajpayee can also be seen in the video standing beside Sharmila Tagore.
In the video Sharmila said, “Thank you so much and I hope you liked the movie. I have seen it for the third time and I was still crying profusely, although I am in it.”
She further added, “Of course, working with Manoj (Bajpayee) and Suraj (Sharma), actually, Suraj makes you cry. But I kind of vibe with this young lot. They make it so difficult for themselves. They can easily take their father’s money and get on. But they have to punish themselves.”
On Monday, Sharmila Tagore’s daughter, Saba Ali Khan took to her Instagram and shared a string of pictures, which featured Sharmila along with Manoj Bajpayee. Another picture included the cast of Gulmohar. A picture also featured Sara Ali Khan hugging Sharmila Tagore from behind. Sharing the post, Saba captioned, “A Special Screening of The movie #Gulmohar

Reacting to the post, a fan commented, “So beautiful she is in and out,” while another user wrote, “Congratulations.” Several fans dropped heart emoticons in the comments section.
A beautiful and absorbing story for all ages to watch with their loved ones directed by Rahul V.Chittella. Gulmohar will see the luminous and graceful Sharmila Tagore return to cinema after 12 years, with acting powerhouses Manoj Bajpayee, Amol Palekar, Simran and Suraj Sharma. Gulmohar, which is set in Delhi, chronicles the Batra family’s final four days in their 34-year-old house before they move to a new city.
Directed by Rahul Chittella, written by Rahul Chittella and Arpita Mukherjee, Gulmohar will stream on Disney+ Hotstar from March 3, 2023.
