Sheikh Zayed Heritage Festival launches competitions for Zayed Grand Prize for Camel Racing

ABU DHABI, 25th November, 2022 (WAM) – Under the patronage of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Sheikh Zayed Heritage Festival launched today the Zayed Grand Prize for Camel Racing in Al Wathba Arena in Abu Dhabi, as part of the UAE’s celebrations of the 51st Union Day.

Organised by the UAE Camel Racing Federation, the races will continue until the 1st of December with the participation of camel owners from across the UAE and the GCC countries.

Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Adviser to the UAE President, and Chairman of the Emirates Camel Racing Federation, attended the opening competitions.
