in ABU DHABI, 17th October, 2022 (WAM) — H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union (GWU), Chairwoman of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation (FDF), and the “Mother of the Nation”, has sent a congratulatory message to Sayyida Ahad bint Abdullah bin Hamad Al Busaidiyah, wife of Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman, on the occasion of Omani Women’s Day.
In her message, Sheikha Fatime said that the celebration of Omani women and their achievements highlights their status as invaluable additions to the Sultanate, noting that the wise leadership of His Majesty the Sultan of Oman and his ongoing efforts to support Omani women has helped them achieve further success in all areas.
She also expressed the pride that the UAE has in its deep-rooted relations with Oman and the historical ties their peoples share in cultural, social, economic and political areas, underlining the role of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq in further boosting these ties.
