Shirley Ballas flaunts ‘perfect legs’ in swimwear as she detoxes before Strictly

Shirley Ballas was told she looks “fabulous” and “sensational” as she posed up a storm at an idyllic juice retreat in Portugal.

The 62-year-old jetted to Juicy Oasis, which is also frequented by the likes of Carol Vorderman and Alison Hammond, as she gears up for the upcoming series of Strictly Come Dancing.

The head judge looked fantastic as she posed on the edge of a bright blue pool wearing a navy swimsuit.

Shirley showed off her enviably toned pins as she pointed her toe and reclined in the sun.

She accessorised with a black and white cap emblazoned with the word “Queen” and a pair of dark sunglasses to shield her eyes from the sun.

The Queen of Latin gave her 278,000 followers an insight into her healthy holiday, writing in the caption: “Relaxing by the pool. I’m resting and getting fit and ready for the busy months ahead with my Skyathlon and @bbcstrictly.

“Enjoying four juices a day, colonics, yoga, long hikes, spin class and a gym at Juicy Oasis. There’s every form of fitness and a beautiful pool to relax in too. Fabulous time so far.”

Compliments quickly poured in for the dancer, including from Donie who wrote: “Jealous! You deserve it! Your legs and foot are perfection.”

Fidelma echoed: “How fabulous️. I’m just looking at the arch on your foot…sensational.”

Sophie gushed: “Fabulous dancers legs,” and Lisa penned: “You look amazing, wish I had a figure like yours.”

As Shirley gets ready for Strictly to kick off later this year, she will be taking on another huge challenge beforehand.

She will take to the sky in a trio of daredevil challenges this August to raise funds for suicide prevention charity, Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM).

Despite her fear of heights, her Skyathlon will see the CALM ambassador complete the world’s fastest zip line, a wing walk and a skydive in just one week.

The cause is incredibly close to Shirley’s heart after sadly losing her brother and a number of friends to suicide.

She said in an interview with Express.co.uk: “Nothing terrifies me more than the thought of losing another person to suicide. I’ve lost my brother, I’ve lost close friends and I don’t want anyone else to go through that pain.

“18 people in the UK take their own life every day. But CALM exists to change that. The helpline answers a call for help every 59 seconds and also runs a free, anonymous helpline and webchat service from 5pm to midnight 365 days of the year.”
