Jimmy Butler is taking the Miami Heat back to the NBA Finals.
Butler continued his spectacular postseason by leading the No. 8 seed to a Game 7 blowout over the Boston Celtics with 28 points, seven rebounds, and six assists. Miami went from losing its first play-in game to winning the Eastern Conference and facing the Denver Nuggets for the championship.
The team celebrated by posting a shirtless photo of Butler with an odd caption on Twitter.

Butler led a stunning first-round upset over the Milwaukee Bucks with 56 points in Game 4 and 42 in a series-clinching Game 5 overtime victory. The 33-year-old didn’t stop there, returning from an ankle injury to defeat the New York Knicks in the semifinals.
Continuing to shine under the spotlight, Butler was named MVP of the Eastern Conference Finals after averaging 24.7 points, 7.6 rebounds, 6.1 assists, and 2.6 steals. Despite watching a 3-0 lead evaporate, Miami responded with a decisive 103-84 win Monday night at TD Garden.
Butler and the Heat can make more history by becoming the first No. 8 seed to win the NBA Finals. They first must get past Nikola Jokic and the top-seeded Nuggets, who are 12-3 this postseason after sweeping the Los Angeles Lakers.
Game 1 starts Thursday at 8:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
