The exceptional pickles, cheeses, chocolates and more from the finalists of the 2022 Good Food Awards are available for sale at the online pop up shop at https://shop.goodfoodfdn.org. Each year, a team of food professionals with the Good Food Foundation participates in a blind tasting of more than 2,000 entries to find the most exceptional in taste, sustainability and social responsibility.
This year, there are 18 categories — Preserves, Oils, Confections and Charcuterie, to name a few -and several Northern California names, including Hayward’s charcuterie expert, Fabrique Delices; Oakland fair trade spice company, Diaspora Co.; San Francisco restaurant and Chinese condiment maker, China Live; and Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese Co. out of Point Reyes Station.
The Good Food journey culminates in San Francisco in January 15 with an epic three-day weekend where the trade gather to celebrate, taste and buy from the nearly 200 winners.
