The trailer for Jennifer Lopez and Josh Duhamel’s latest romantic comedy is officially here and their destination wedding is going to be interesting with some crazy action as the couple embark on an adventurous crusade.

Directed by Jason Moore, Shotgun Wedding is a romantic comedy that follows a couple (Duhamel and Lopez) bringing their families together for a destination wedding and everything goes haywire at their dreamy ceremony. The engaged couple Darcy and Tom, who are getting cold feet after the guests arrive for their dreamy wedding, must save their loved ones from pirates when things take a downturn on their wedding day.

The movie was first announced back in 2020 with Lopez and Armie Hammer set to lead. However, after the upsetting allegations surrounding the latter began to circulate, Hammer stepped down from the project. The action-packed romantic comedy also stars Jennifer Coolidge, Sônia Braga, Cheech Marin, Selena Tan, D’Arcy Carden, Callie Hernandez, Desmin Borges, Steve Coulter and Lenny Kravitz.

The screenplay is penned by Mark Hammer and Liz Meriwether. Mandeville’s Todd Lieberman and David Hoberman produced the feature under the banner. Lopez also produces under her Nuyorican Productions alongside her partners Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas and Benny Medina.
