SHARJAH, 5th January, 2022 (WAM) — Sharjah Human Resources Directorate (SDHR) announced the start of employee evaluation system phase, which is the first phase within the system for evaluating the performance of government employee for the year 2022. The phase runs from the beginning of January until the end of February.
The stage aims to gather the direct manager with the employee to assign the annual smart goals, and review the behavioural competencies.
This stage contributes to enhancing employee involvement in planning and setting goals, and consolidating the importance of individual efforts in translating the strategic goals of the business entity.
The performance appraisal system is considered a basic pillar in the development of the work system and a process which the employee’s level of performance of the duties of his job is evaluated and the achievement of the agreed-upon goals that were previously identified between the employee and his direct supervisor in the performance planning stage.
