Sidharth Shukla Death Anniversary: His most loved moments of Bigg Boss journey

Sidharth Shukla has undeniably been one of the most popular contestants on Bigg Boss across all seasons of the show. It’s been two years since he left us, leaving a void in our hearts. Today on the actor’s 2nd death anniversary, we at midday.com recall some of his best moments on Bigg Boss 13.

Winning moment
Sidharth won Bigg Boss 13, and that moment is etched in the memory of his fans. As he stood on the stage with Asim Riaz, host Salman Khan played around before finally announcing Sidharth’s name as the winner and handing the trophy to him. This was followed by a bear hug between Sidharth and Asim.

Sidnaaz moments
Sidharth and Shehnaaz, fondly known as Sidnaaz by fans, shared many unforgettable moments in the house, be it their cute bickering or emotional moments. One such moment was when Sidharth returned to the house after recovering from typhoid. Shehnaaz was called in the confession room and found Sidharth waiting for her there. The joy on Shehnaaz’s face is something fans still recall.

Sidharth’s mom, Rita, made an entry, and Rashami Desai extended a hand of friendship
Sidharth and Rashami’s funny banter when Sidharth’s mom Rita entered made fans chuckle. The actress had a few emotional moments soon after, which were followed by Rashami extending a hand of friendship towards Sidharth on the behest of her niece and nephew.

Sidharth, the lone warrior
Among the many memorable things Sidharth said on the show, this one made it clear that he was a lone warrior. Asim Riaz had told him, “Yahi hain tu, akela. Yahi hain tu. Pehle din se hi aisa hain tu.” Replying to Asim, Sidharth said, “Bilkul aisa hoon. Kam se kam saath me reh ke peeth me chhora nahi bhokta hoon. Akela hoon, akela theek hoon, aur akela khush hoon, aur akele se phat ti hai tum sab ki. (Yes, I am like that. At least I don`t betray. I am alone, I am happy, and you all are scared of me.)”

When he spoke about gender equality
Sidharth Shukla told Salman Khan about how he has been taught to treat men and women equally by his family. “Meri behnen mujhse ladti hai, main unse ladta hoon. Main chota hoon par mujhe maara hai, mara mari hua hai. Kabhi mere ghar wale beech main ghus ke nahi bole who ladki hai yeh mat kar.”
