Fox Sports personality Skip Bayless shared private news about Heat star Jimmy Butler’s family during Monday’s episode of “Undisputed.”

Bayless announced that Butler’s father is “not well” at the moment.

“We haven’t seen Playoff Jimmy now for seven straight games,” Bayless said. “He is going through an issue with his father who is not well. God bless him and God bless Jimmy. I think he might be a little distracted, if not a little drained, by going through that.”

Greg Cote of the Miami Herald blasted Bayless for disclosing this information on national television.

“It’s a disservice to journalism to invade someone’s privacy like that,” Cote said. “Jimmy Butler deserves to deal with personal issues personally and privately. To put that out there in the middle of the Finals to explain why he’s had some off shooting games in a row is irresponsible to me.”

Cote isn’t the only person irritated by Bayless’ recent antics. Countless fans and media members have questioned his decision to leak this sensitive information during the NBA Finals.

Butler has not yet commented on this leak. His focus is on winning Game 3 back in Miami.

The NBA Finals will resume this Wednesday night on ABC.
