Sydney socialite Pip Edwards has called it quits on her romance with former NRL star Braith Anasta.
According to The Daily Telegraph, Edwards was in a relationship with the 41-year-old rugby league star for just a few months, before recently calling it quits.
An insider source said, “Pip and Braith know one another from both being part of Sydney’s social scene”.
“After spending a little more time together recently, they hit it off and started dating,” the source continued.
“They were hot and heavy for a short period of time, but it just didn’t work and ended up being over before it began.”
It seems the 43-year-old has a running theme of dating famous athletes, as she was in a relationship with former cricketer Michael Clarke for just over a year from June 2020 to December 2021.
The P.E Nation co-founder made headlines earlier this year for her involvement in the infamous Noosa Brawl between Clarke and his partner Jade Yarbrough, where she was rumoured to be seeing Clarke again whilst he was still in a relationship.
Footage was released by an onlooker that showed the couple arguing at Noosa Park in Queensland, when Yarbrough slapped him after accusing him of cheating.
Clarke then swore on his daughter Kelsey Lee’s life he did not cheat on her, with Yarbrough responding: “You’re f**king lying to me. You are a piece of s**t. I just spoke to her. What is wrong with you?”
After the intense footage was released, Edwards issued a statement that said: “It is definitely not my circus and I would like to say the carnival is over and to be honest the focus for me is on the global expansion of P.E Nation. The carnival is done.”
After six months of radio silence after the public exchange, it seems the controversial pair Clarke and Yarbrough have rekindled their romance.
