For those who slavishly followed Sofia Richie Grainge’s fairy tale wedding in the South of France and dreamy honeymoon in the Maldives, her summer plans may prove somewhat of a disappointment. “I wish I had a fabulous answer, but we have no summer plans. We’re chilling with our dogs,” the model, designer, and now budding beauty influencer, told Vogue. “My husband’s passport has expired and we are waiting for that to come back. The wedding was chaos, so I am so happy to relax and do nothing.” Being temporarily grounded in her hometown of Los Angeles did, however, give her time to host a fabulous beachside dinner for Hourglass Cosmetics at the Little Beach House in Malibu to celebrate the launch of their new Veil Hydrating Skin Tint.

Wearing a white Loewe mini dress and earrings from her sister’s House of Harlow line, Richie Grainge greeted guests, including Meeka Hossain, Shanina Shaik, Roxy Sowlaty Bijan, and Gab Waller, all of whom had been treated to a glam session upon arrival along with a signature Soho House picante. As guests sat down to a dinner of Greek salad, calamari and grilled fish on a breezy terrace overlooking the Pacific Ocean, Richie Grainge shared her go-to summer makeup look. “Natural, glowy, very light. Probably not much to be honest with you,” she said. “A touch of concealer under the eyes, a good bronzing stick and eyebrow gel. But my real beauty hack is getting my eyebrows tinted and a lash lift…and I drink a lot of water.” As the evening progressed, talk inevitably turned to other people’s travel plans. I went to Europe about ten times,” she said. “A trick that I have learned for my very sensitive skin, in order not to break out, is I bring a little jar of micellar water and clean my skin every four hours followed by a light moisturizer.
