Sonakshi Sinha announces release date of Double XL with motion poster | Bollywood Bubble

Sonakshi Sinha is all set to share screen space with Huma Qureshi for a slice-of-the-life film Double XL. The movie is a humourous whirlwind adventure into the hearts of two plus-sized women. The Satramm Ramani directorial was set to release on October 14. But looks like the movie has been postponed.

Sonakshi Sinha took to social media to share the new release date and character posters of the film that is presented by Gulshan Kumar, T-Series, Wakaoo Films & Mudassar Aziz.

Taking to Instagram the actress shared the character poster and the new date. She wrote, “Meet Saira Khanna. They say she cannot be a fashion designer. They say she is too BIG for her own clothes… but guess what! Her dreams are BIGGER and she’s out to achieve them! #DoubleXL in CINEMAS near you on 4th Nov 2022.”

Earlier the makers had shared a teaser of Double XL that had piqued the interest of fans. The teaser was all about questioning body weight stereotypes. Featuring Huma Qureshi and Sonakshi Sinha the teaser of Double XL was shared by the film’s production house T-Series. The 30-second teaser gives a glimpse of the protagonists’ looks and chemistry. It explored the journey of two plus-size women – Rajshree Trivedi (Qureshi) from Meerut and Saira Khanna (Sinha) from New Delhi as they navigate society’s beauty standards.

Apart from Sonakshi and Huma, Double XL also stars Zaheer Iqbal and Mahat Raghavendra. Directed by Satramm Ramani, the film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vipul D Shah, Rajesh Bahl and Ashwin Varde, Saqib Saleem, Huma Qureshi and Mudassar Aziz. I

It is scheduled to be released on November 04, 2022.
