Sony Days Of Play Sale Starts This Friday; DualSense Discounted At RM269

Sony today has announced the upcoming arrival of its Days of Play sale, which is scheduled to begin this Friday on 2 June 2023. During this promotion, the company will be offering discounts on selected physical PlayStation 4 and 5 video game titles, its current generation DualSense wireless controller, as well as discounted subscriptions and tier upgrades for PlayStation (PS) Plus.

Most exciting of all is the slashed price for the PS5’s DualSense Wireless Controller, which is offered at RM269 during the Days of Play sale. According to Sony, the discount applies to the non-limited colourways for the controller; including White, Midnight Black, Cosmic Red, Starlight Blue, Nova Pink, Galactic Purple and Gray Camouflage. At RM80 off from its current RM349 price point, the upcoming sale is the perfect opportunity to pick up the DualSense if you’ve been on the fence about it.

Apart from featuring haptic feedback, tactile buttons and adaptive triggers, it’s also worth reminding that the PlayStation 5 controller could also work with compatible mobile devices and on PC through USB-C or Bluetooth connectivity. Granted, support for its haptics and adaptive triggers on non-native platforms are limited, but you’ll be glad to know that there are some games on Steam that actually utilise all of the DualSense’s features.

Next up, also offered on discount during the Days of Play sale are several first-party PlayStation 4 and 5 titles, though keep in mind that this applies to just the physical version of each game. For your ease of reference, below is the list of titles offered during the promotion:

Last but not least is a special promotion for PlayStation Plus subscriptions, where all 12-month plans for the Essential, Extra and Deluxe plans are offered at 25% off. In addition, existing Essential and Extra members are also offered 25% off if they wish to upgrade to one month, three months or 12 months membership of a higher tier. Needless to say, if you’re planning to see what the Deluxe tier is all about, the upcoming sale is a good time to find out.

As mentioned earlier, the Days of Play sale will be happening from 2 to 12 June 2023. All of the deals will be offered at all Sony official stores as well as authorised PlayStation dealers nationwide such as Impulse Gaming, M4G and more while stocks last.
