Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh spend the afternoon with the British Bobsleigh and Skeleton Association, of whom she is patron. The meeting took place at Buckingham Palace, and for the occasion, she dressed in a brown polka dot dress and camel blazer.
Sophie’s dress is not new, in fact, it has been in her wardrobe for the last five years.
It is a Diane von Furstenberg Baker Wrap-Around Dress in brown silk.
According to royal fashion fans, the dress “takes inspiration from feminine, retro designs in the form of a white polka-dot print”.
“It’s shaped for a slim fit with a wrap-around bodice – a nod to the designer’s hallmark piece – then falls into an asymmetric hem.”

The dress was originally priced at £424, but Sophie is making sure she gets lots of wear out of it.
She first wore it in September 2018 for a visit to St Thomas’s Hospital, then in Feburary 2019 for a visit to Ockley.
In March 2019 she chose it for her Leed’s Children’s Hospital visit, and then more recently in March 2022.
Today, she wore her Max Mara Alpaca Blazer in Camel over the top of the dress.
Sophie was not the only royal making engagements today, the Prince and Princess of Wales arrived in the Brecon Beacons for a two-day visit.
The Prince, who is the Patron of Mountain Rescue England and Wales, send the afternoon with the Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team and were photographed abseiling.
The King, on the other hand, presented his first military colours as sovereign at Buckingham Palace, supported by the Queen Consort.
