Sophie Wessex dons chic autumnal outfit and recycled coat today

Well-known for her shorter, choppier hairstyles in the 1990s, Sophie has been wearing her hair longer in recent years, choosing a sleek style for Tuesday’s outing.

Sophie kept her make-up natural for the day, opting for a touch of eyeliner and a simple pink lip.

Sophie’s visit commemorated the fundraising efforts of JCB staff for the NSPCC, of which Sophie is a patron.

In honour of the occasion, pinned to the lapel of the Countess’ coat was an NSPCC badge. Sophie also unveiled a plaque and to her great delight took a seat in one of the JCBs.
