Just because the NCAA Tournament that we all know and love doesn’t have any action set to take place doesn’t doesn’t mean we can watch or bet on college basketball.
The CBI semifinals are set to go down on Tuesday, with one of the games being Southern Utah vs. Eastern Kentucky.

So, with that in mind, I’ll be laying the points with Southern Utah in this CBI semifinal. Heading into tonight’s game, the Thunderbirds rank 108th in the country in effective field goal percentage. Meanwhile, the Colonels come in at 294th. Their shooting has been hot so far this tournament, but regression will come for Eastern Kentucky.
The poor shooting by Eastern Kentucky extends to its free throw shooting, which could be the difference maker in a game that’s expected to be close. The Colonels rank 338th in the country in free throw percentage, hitting their shots from the line at a rate of just 65.7%.
