Three Southwest consumer credit cards offered through Chase Bank feature this limited-time offer. These cards include the following, along with their unique perks:
- $69 Annual Fee; 3,000 Annual Bonus Points: Southwest Rapid Rewards® Plus Credit Card
- $99 Annual Fee; 6,000 Annual Bonus Points: Southwest Rapid Rewards® Premier Credit Card
- $149 Annual Fee; 7,500 Annual Bonus Points: Southwest Rapid Rewards® Priority Credit Card
New cardholders of the cards mentioned above can earn 60,000 bonus points plus a 30% off promo code after spending $3,000 on purchases in the first three months from account opening.
After meeting the relevant spending requirements, the promo code will be available directly in the cardholder’s account and won’t expire until October 31, 2024. Note that the discount only applies to the base fare for up to eight tickets on both points and cash bookings. Taxes and fees will still apply.
As noted by Southwest, this is the first time its credit card portfolio offers both an enhanced welcome offer and a promotional discount.

Cardholders can earn 3x points on Southwest® purchases (Rapid Rewards Plus cardholders earn 2x points on Southwest® purchases), 2x points on local transit and commuting, including rideshares, 2x points on internet, cable, phone services, and select streaming purchases, and 1x point for every $1 spent on all other purchases.
There is no limit to how many points can be earned. Points won’t expire as long as the account is open. Additionally, cardholders get 25% back on inflight purchases. Southwest Rapid Rewards Plus Credit Card and Southwest Rapid Rewards Premier Credit Card cardholders can enjoy 2 EarlyBird Check-In® each year.
The top-tier Southwest consumer card is the Southwest Rapid Rewards Priority Credit Card. It comes with a $75 annual travel credit and up to 4 upgraded boardings annually (subject to availability). As the annual fee is $149, using the $75 travel credit can effectively help offset the yearly cost to $74.
