Company director Jay and event director Mei Wan hosted a breathtaking spectacle of love and culture, with celebrations spanning across an entire week.
The couple meticulously planned five vibrant events including their ceremony, which was attended by 350 cherished guests from around the globe, travelling from the UK, Gibraltar, Spain, United States, Singapore and Malaysia.
Attendees were treated to a culinary extravaganza of traditional Indian and Chinese delicacies, before the newlyweds took to the dance floor at their reception with a special choreographed dance.
But the dancing didn’t stop there because a professional, Jiten Bhatt, arrived to teach a masterclass in Bollywood dance.
When and where
The pair hosted their wedding celebrations in May at various locations including the Indian Society of WA, The Westin Perth and the Sikh Gurdwara Sahib in Canning Vale.
Dress
The couple flew to Malaysia to source a tailor to make their traditional outfits. Mei Wan’s lehenga gown was chosen to be red as it symbolises energy and prosperity in both Indian and Chinese culture.
Honeymoon
The newlyweds are set to enjoy a month-long European honeymoon in August.
