The trailer also shows the spirit friends that you can take care of, such as Stanley, and shows Stella exploring various parts of the world, like various cities and forests while she tackles platforming challenges. Spiritfarer is both a management sim and a sandbox action game. In the game, you play as Stella, who becomes a Spiritfarer, which means that her job is to ferry spirits of the deceased to the afterlife. To accomplish this, she builds a ship and sails around the world, befriending spirits along the way. Spiritfarer came out on August 18th, 2020, and the game has already received several updates, which mainly included new Spirits to find and help, a new island, and many quality of life improvements. The Farewell Edition will be released with all of these updates for the game included.
