WNBA star Brittney Griner made her stance on transgender athletes very clear this week.
Griner made it clear that she’s supportive of inclusion, especially when it comes to trans athletes.
“That ranks high on the list of things I’ll be fighting for and speaking up against,” Griner said this week. “Everyone deserves the right to play. Everyone deserves the right to come here, sit in these seats, and feel safe. And not feel like there’s the threat, or they can’t be who they are, or like it’s just all eyes on them.
“I think it’s a crime honestly to separate someone for any reason. So, I definitely will be speaking up against that legislation and those laws that are trying to be passed, for sure.”

Unsurprisingly, this is a controversial issue.
“Yeah until lewanda James come 360 windmill on you then she’ll understand,” one fan wrote.
“The whole reason why she has a job is because we separated Men and Female from basketball teams,” one fan added.
“The internet is ruthless,” one fan wrote.
