Former NBA head coach Phil Jackson caused a bit of controversy when he talked about why he no longer watches the league.

During an episode of Tetragammon with Rick Rubin, Jackson says he has not watched NBA basketball since the 2020 Orlando bubble.
“They even had slogans on the floor and the baseline,” he said. “It was trying… to bring a certain audience to the game, and they didn’t know it was turning other people off. People want to see sports as non-political.”
The sports world is reacting to Jackson’s comments on the league and its viewership.
