Legendary NBA big man Shaquille O’Neal scared the sports world when he tweeted out a photo of himself in the hospital last Sunday evening.
However, O’Neal was apparently in the hospital for a planned surgery.
O’Neal has announced that he underwent hip surgery. He is recovering now.
“to all the people who are worried and concerned. first off , let me say thank you. And lastly no need to worry, just had to get some BBL WORK AKA #hipreplacement. Thanks and love you all. but no need to worry and yes i’m fine,” he wrote.

It’s good to see Shaq is recovering.
“Will this make you more hip or less hip?” one fan wrote.
“Great to hear, big man! Keep flexing those cheeks!” one fan added.

“I am glad you are fine! my family will pray for you!” another fan wrote.
