Kamala Harris was on hand for Brittney Griner’s first regular season WNBA game since returning from Russia.

On Sunday, the vice president of the United States had a cool announcement.

“Brittney Griner’s return to the court is an inspiration to our nation – and is a testament to her strength and courage,” she announced.

Fans are weighing in.

“She is not a hero? Not a testament of courage and strength, she’s lucky Joe bailed her out of Russia with a horrible deal for America,” one fan wrote.

Griner and her team lost their first game of the 2023 regular season on Friday night.
