Andrew Wiggins is ready to return to the court and the timing could not be better.
According to The Athletic/ Stadium’s Shams Charania and The Athletic’s Anthony Slater, Wiggins has been cleared to play in the Golden State Warriors Game one matchup against the Sacramento Kings on Saturday.
“Warriors forward Andrew Wiggins is cleared to play in Game 1 vs. Kings on Saturday, his first game since Feb. 13. Golden State is leaning toward Wiggins coming off the bench in a 20-to-25 minute playing time role, sources tell me and @anthonyVslater.”
The forward has not played since mid February due to a personal issue. The news created plenty of reaction on social media.

Wiggins, 28, averaged 17.1 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.3 assists this season on 47.3 percent shooting from the field and 39.6 percent from long distance.
Wiggins had a key role in the Warriors’ championship victory last year.
