For the second consecutive game, the Golden State Warriors are facing elimination from the NBA Playoffs. The Los Angeles Lakers hold a 3-2 lead in their Western Conference semifinal series, and the defending champions are on the brink of having their chances to repeat ended.
Andrew Wiggins has emerged as an extremely valuable two-way player for the Warriors, and has often been a spark for them in big games. Unfortunately. Wiggins is dealing with an injury that casts some doubt on his availability for Game 6.

Wiggins is officially listed as questionable for Friday’s game with a fracture to cartilage in his ribcage. A similar injury forced Suns center Deandre Ayton out of his team’s Game 6 – and the Denver Nuggets ended their season.
The sports world is reacting to the news on Wiggins’ injury.
“For a team that has ‘insane injury luck’ they sure do have a lot of their playoff runs ended by injuries,” one fan said.

Given the fact that the Warriors are facing elimination, it’s likely that Wiggins will attempt to play through his injury. It’s hard to tell if he’ll still be the same player that he is when he’s healthy, however.
